A little more about MW

Hi, I’m Nicole—coach, wellness advocate, and founder of Method Wellness.
Method Wellness was born from a real, raw desire to help women navigate their wellness journeys with a little more strength, a little more self-care, and a whole lot more grace. This isn’t about achieving perfection—it's about finding what feels good and actually works for you.

My own motherhood experience wasn’t marked by dramatic trauma or headline-worthy events—and yet, I still found myself struggling. Maybe it was being pregnant during a global pandemic, or not fully processing a miscarriage. Maybe it was the sixteen weeks of non-stop nausea. Or being diagnosed with gestational diabetes and saying goodbye to my comfort foods while waddling around like a beached whale with sleep apnea. Honestly, it was probably all of the above.

Labor and delivery? Thankfully, no complaints. I celebrated my child’s arrival with more pastries than I’d like to admit. But postpartum? That’s where the chaos began.

Like so many new moms, I spent the next several months in a foggy, sleep-deprived haze—memorable only thanks to the massive amount of sleeping infant iPhone photos. Breastfeeding? Miserable. Painful. So not what I imagined. Motherhood felt really hard. Because…it is.

Once I finally got more than four hours of sleep in a row, I felt the pull to reconnect with some of my pre-pregnancy wellness habits. But it was slow—like, really slow.

I hadn’t healed properly from my vaginal birth, and I was dealing with lingering pain in a body I barely recognized. I was so grateful for what my body had done—and also so frustrated by how broken it felt. My doctor gave me a few options: wait it out, try pelvic floor therapy, or consider surgery. After almost two years of "waiting it out," I finally gave pelvic floor physical therapy a go. (Side note: Every postpartum woman deserves this kind of care. It should be standard!)

Turns out, I had a super weak, tender pelvic floor and pretty terrible breath mechanics—thank you, pregnancy. But I got to work. Literally. I had to re-learn how to breathe, reconnect with my body, and rebuild from the inside out. The movement practices that supported me most? Gentle, functional exercises rooted in—mat Pilates.

Through Pilates, I learned how to truly feel my pelvic floor, how to breathe with intention, and how to slowly rebuild strength. Over time, I healed. I also fell in love with the practice and eventually became a certified instructor—something I never saw coming.

That’s how Method Wellness came to life. Not just as a coaching program, but as a way to help other women reconnect with their bodies, redefine what wellness means to them, and discover sustainable tools that feel good—mentally and physically.

Here’s the thing: Mat Pilates might not be everyone’s jam (though I’m convinced it could help everyone), but that’s not the point. Wellness isn’t one-size-fits-all. Coaching helps you find your method—the one that aligns with your lifestyle, interests, and goals.

So, what is wellness coaching anyway?

Think of wellness coaching as having a supportive co-pilot while you navigate the messy, beautiful, ever-changing road of life. It’s not about chasing someone else’s version of “healthy”—it’s about discovering your own.

In our coaching sessions, we’ll explore what wellness looks like for you. Maybe it’s getting stronger, sleeping better, feeling more energized, reconnecting with your body, or finally finding time for things that light you up. It’s your call. Together, we’ll identify what’s working, what’s not, and what small, doable shifts can move you in the direction of feeling your best.

Wellness coaching isn’t a lecture or a “fix it” session. It’s collaborative, creative, and judgment-free. We dive into everything from physical movement and mental health to boundaries, self-talk, relationships, and rest (yes, rest counts as wellness!).

The goal? Sustainable change—not a crash course or quick fix. Because wellness isn’t a destination—it’s a lifelong relationship with yourself.

Method Wellness is inclusive and welcoming to all.
Yes, it was inspired by my postpartum story—but it’s for anyone who’s ready to feel better, stronger, and more at home in their body. If you’re ready to redefine wellness on your own terms, I’d love to support you in finding your method.

INSPIRING wellness through judgement-free coaching!
